You can modify, regenerate, and reupload incident snapshots from the Incident snapshots monitoring task.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the required Incidents snapshots monitoring privilege.

Procedure

  1. From the Security Desk homepage, open the Incident snapshots monitoring task.
  2. Select the incident that you want to manage.
The Incident snapshots details pane opens.
  3. Click the Modify () button to modify the incident's description or start and end time.
    CAUTION:
Modifying the start time erases all snapshots for this incident and regenerates new ones.
  4. If upload clearance is required for this incident, click the Give clearance button.
Incident snapshot details pane highlighting the Give clearance button.
  5. If there are snapshots that failed to generate, click the Regenerate snapshots () button to regenerate all snapshots or only those in error.
"Incident snapshot regeneration" dialog box with options to regenerate snapshots in error or all snapshots.
    CAUTION:
Regenerating all snapshots erases all the previous incident snapshots and generates new ones.
  6. If the incident snapshots failed to upload, click Reupload to restart the upload process.
Incident snapshot details pane highlighting the Reupload button.
  7. To delete the incident from the system, click the More options () button and click Delete > Ok.
    CAUTION:
    Deleted incidents cannot be recovered.
