Before deploying the Security Center server on to the failover cluster, you must install the Windows cluster, and then install SQL Server.

Procedure

    The design and installation of a Windows Server failover cluster is outside of the scope of this procedure. However, step by step guides and other technical documentation is available from Microsoft to guide you through the cluster installation process:

    The installation of a clustered SQL Server is outside of the scope of this procedure. However, step by step guides and other technical documentation is available from Microsoft to guide you through the SQL cluster installation process:
    IMPORTANT: When installing the new database server, the SQL Server software files can be installed in the default path on the C: drive but the database itself must reside on the external storage so that it can be used by both servers in the cluster.
