Map objects are graphical representations of entities on a map. With map objects, you can interact with your system without leaving your map.

The following map objects are added to your system with Office Manager:
NOTE: A colored dot on map object indicates the entity's occupancy status. You can configure the colors to use for desk entities from the Office Desks plugin properties tab.
Map object Appearance on map Description
Home desk
A desk assigned to a single cardholder.
Shared desk
A desk assigned to multiple cardholders.
Hot desk
An unassigned desk that can be used by cardholders as needed.
Conference room entity
Conference room entity.
  • If the map object has a green dot, the conference room's occupancy is below the capacity threshold.
  • If the map object has a red dot, the conference room's occupancy is above the capacity threshold.
  • If the map object has a grey dot, the conference room has no available occupancy analytic.
