Installing the patch release - Security Center 5.10.4.12

The patch release must be installed on all Security Center 5.10 computers that have the Server or Client installed, unless otherwise specified by Genetec Inc.

1. Log on to GTAP and download the patch release:
   1. Click > Technical Assistance > Product Download.
   2. From the Download Finder list, select Security Center > 5.10 > 5.10.4.0.
   3. In the Cumulative Updates section, download the Security Center V 5.10.4.12 package.
   The download package is a self-extracting zip file named Genetec™ Security Center Update 5.10.4.12.exe.
2. Exit from all Genetec™ applications.
   For example, Config Tool, Security Desk, and so on.
3. Double-click on Genetec™ Security Center Update 5.10.4.12.exe.
4. Unzip the files to a Windows folder.
   By default, the extracted files are saved to C:\Genetec.
5. Right-click the extracted Genetec™ Security Center Update 5.10.4.12.exe file and select Run as administrator.
6. After the InstallShield finishes analyzing your computer to begin the installation, click Update.
7. Click Finish.
