Security Center 5.11.1.0 includes the following automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) enhancements.
General enhancements
- Ability to move a record from one hotlist to another one
- In the Hotlist and permit editor task, you can now copy, cut, and paste vehicle entries between hotlists.
- Advanced search conditions now supported
- Using search condition filter, you can now add complex search queries to investigate various ALPR reports. The filter implements logical operators, and groups to create the required conditions. For more information, see About search conditions.
- New language support for Thai characters
- With this update, your system now supports Thai characters in ALPR.
- Unit offline notifications now supported in read and hit reports
- When you generate a read or hit report, Security Desk now alerts you if any of the
specified units were offline during the time interval selected in the report. This is
especially useful if you want to track and maintain the connectivity of units in your
network. NOTE: After the camera re-establishes a connection, reads that are buffered locally are automatically uploaded.
- Add license plate numbers to the hotlist on the fly
- You can now configure an event-to-action to automatically add license plate numbers to the required hotlist, every time a desired ALPR event occurs. This is especially useful if you want to monitor new plate numbers on the fly. For more information, see Creating event-to-actions.
- Option to format date Third-party data exporter date format
- When exporting license plates from Security Center using the AutoVu™ third-party data exporter, you can now select
how you want the date to appear in exported license plate reads. The following formats
are available:
- MM/dd/yyyy
- MM-dd-yyyy
- dd/MM/yyyy
- dd-MM-yyyy
- yyyy/MM/dd
- yyyy-MM-dd
