Security Center 5.11.1.0 includes the following access control enhancements.

Reporting enhancements

Access control unit event delays task
With the new Access control unit event delays task, you can now generate reports on the delays between when a unit event was created and when the event was saved in the Access Manager database. The timestamps can differ if a unit was offline while the event occurred because the event is only saved in the Access Manager after the unit comes back online. This information can help you identify and investigate units with issues.
Cardholder, visitor, and credential status dates
You can now see a cardholder, visitor, or credential's creation date, last specific activation date, and last specific expiration date in the following tasks:
  • Cardholder management
  • Visitor management
  • Credential management
  • Access control
NOTE:
  • The creation date is not visible in report tasks and is not supported for entities synchronized from federated sites or Active Directory domains.
  • For entities shared in the Global Cardholder Synchronizer (GCS), the creation date displays the creation in the remote site, which does not match the creation date in the host or other guest systems.
  • For manually deactivated entities, the scheduled expiration date is displayed instead of the deactivation date. If the entity is reactivated and the expiration is set to a specific date, that value becomes the new expiration date.

Honeywell integration enhancements

MIRFARE DESFire enhancements

Configure multiple files in a single MIFARE DESFire application
Using the MIFARE DESFire configuration task, you can now configure up to 32 files in an application. Previously, only one file could be configured per application.
Encode cardholder information on a MIFARE DESFire card
You can now encode cardholder information on a MIFARE DESFire card to accelerate cardholder creation and prevent typos when copying a cardholder onto another system. When assigning the card to a new cardholder on the other system using a STid reader, the cardholder fields are automatically populated by the values encoded on the card. For more information, see Encoding cardholder information on MIFARE DESFire cards and Using MIFARE DESFire cards to auto-fill cardholder information.
Encode multiple configurations on a MIFARE DESFire card
You can now select multiple MIFARE DESFire configurations when encoding a card with a STid reader in the Cardholder management task.
Improved user interface
The MIFARE DESFire configuration task was updated for improved usability. For more information, see Configuring MIFARE DESFire in Security Center.
