You can uninstall Security Center patch releases from Windows Control Panel.

What you should know

After uninstalling the Security Center 5.11.1.1 patch release, the Genetec™ Watchdog and Genetec™ Server services stop on all Security Center servers.

Procedure

To uninstall a component from Windows 10:

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Click View Installed Updates, right-click the patch release, and select Uninstall.

To uninstall a component from Windows 8 and Server 2012:

  1. Right-click the Start button and select Programs and Features.
  2. Click View Installed Updates, right-click the patch release, and select Uninstall.

To uninstall a component from Windows 7 or Windows 2008:

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Click View Installed Updates, right-click the patch release, and select Uninstall.

After you finish

Set the Startup Type of the Genetec™ Watchdog and Genetec™ Server services to Automatic and manually restart them on all Security Center servers.
