Security Center 5.11.3.0 includes the following platform enhancements.
General enhancements
- Assign local cameras to federated doors
- You can now assign local cameras to federated doors to display camera feeds in the Security Desk Monitoring task. For more information, see Assigning local cameras to federated doors.
- Enhancements to report generation
- Thanks to enhancements in how reports are generated, you can now export larger Excel reports quicker while using fewer computing resources. In addition, when configuring a hot action to email a report, you can now send charts alongside exported CSV data to provide recipients with the visual data they need.
- Create agents on role servers
- Customers using Security Center SaaS products can now specify which servers in their on-premises system can establish a reverse tunnel connection to the cloud. This improves the reverse tunneling compatibility for on-premises systems with restricted internet connectivity. For information about reverse tunneling, see the Cloud-Hosted Security Center SaaS Edition Deployment Guide.
- Entity state widget added to dashboards
- You can now use the Entity state widget to monitor the state of entities on your dashboard. For more information, see Standard dashboard widgets.
- Dashboard scaling
- Using the new Fit to window option in your dashboard settings, you can now scale your dashboard to match your screen resolution.
- Geocoded searches available in Map Designer
- You can now search for addresses and coordinates on any georeferenced or geographic map in Config Tool.
- Optimized Directory Startup
- Security Center now uses a dynamic and more efficient way to load system components during Directory startup, with no need for user intervention.
- New to audit trails - Sending emails to external users and cardholders
- Information related to the sending of emails to external users and cardholders is now available in the Audit trail report.
- New languages available in Security Center
- Your Security Center user interface is now available in Romanian, Croatian, and Greek.
- New console trace settings
- To prevent the logs from consuming too much disk space, customers who use console traces can now specify the log file size and disk usage settings. This helps to optimize hard drive storage and improve system performance. For more information, see the Working with logs and traces for Security Center guide.
- Expanded color palette for alarms
- Security Center 5.11.3.0 increases the choice of available colors when configuring alarms, enabling you to now choose white as the color to display in the Alarm monitoring and Monitoring tasks when an alarm is triggered.
- Synchronize custom icons in Federation™
- You can now share custom entity icons with the Federation™ host. This means that entity icons in the Federation host match entity icons of the federated system.
- An updated version of Server Admin
- Server Admin has been rebuilt using a different codebase to offer you a more secure platform. In addition, the updated Server Admin offers a refreshed look and feel, with greater control of how you size your columns.
- Viewing alarms in a pop-up window
- You can now view an alarm instantly by double-clicking it in the report pane of the Monitoring and Alarm monitoring tasks. This opens the alarm tile in a pop-up window, where you can review related video and interact with the alarm through the embedded command buttons. This feature is beneficial when you do not have enough tiles available to view all of your alarms, and also saves the time spent searching for alarms in your tile canvas. For more information, see Responding to Alarms.
