With each release, new features, enhancements, or resolved issues are added to the product.

The following capabilities are now available in the Security Center 5.7 SR4 SDK:
Cardholder and credential status
Improved the SDK to get and set the status of cardholders and credentials using status properties. To support this functionality, all properties and methods in CardholderAccessStatus and CredentialAccessStatus are now accessible.
Expose door properties
You can now use the SDK to get and set all door properties shown in the door Properties tab in Config Tool.
The following properties have been added to the Door entity:
  • DoorForced
  • DoorHeld
  • ExtendedGrantTimeInSeconds
  • ExtendedEntryTimeInSeconds
  • IgnoreAccessEventsWhenUnlockedBySchedule
  • IgnoreDoorOpenTooLongEventWhenUnlockedBySchedule
  • MaintenanceModeActive
    NOTE: Existing attribute can now be set.
  • RelockDelayInSeconds
  • RelockOnClose
  • RequestToExit
  • StandardGrantTimeInSeconds
  • StandardEntryTimeInSeconds
  • TwoPersonRule
  • VisitorEscort

New classes and enumerations were added to support this functionality.

Expose the active resolution of a video stream
You can now use the SDK to get the video signal rate from a camera. If multiple resolutions are available, the video signal rate can be used to determine the active resolution of the video stream.

A new attribute called VideoSignalRate has been added to the Camera entity to support this functionality.

Expose the version of the Federation™ role
Security Center Federation™ roles are now exposed in the SDK as FederationRole entities. The entity provides users with the default role properties, including the Security Center version that the Federation™ is connected to.

The following information is available from the FederationRole:

  • FederateAlarms
