If your TSS entities are not returning any data, you might need to restart the TSS entity or the plugin.
Before you begin
- Make sure your TSS entity is properly configured.
- Ensure you have administrative rights to successfully troubleshoot this issue.
Check all Zones
- From the Security Desk home page, open the Monitoring task.
- From the entity tree, drag the TSS entity to a monitoring tile.
- Verify each tab to see if any zone is returning data:
- If at least one zone is returning data, check to see if the problematic zones are properly configured.
- If none of the zones are returning data, move to the next step.
Poll the entity
- From the entity tree, right-click the TSS entity and select Poll Now.
- Wait a few seconds.
- If the problem persists, restart the entity.
Restart the entity
- From the entity tree, right-click the TSS entity and select Put Offline.
- Wait for the entity to turn red.
- Right-click the TSS entity and select Put Online.
- Wait at least two polling cycles.
- If the problem persists, restart the plugin.
Restart the plugin
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- From the entity tree, right-click the TSS plugin and select Maintenance, and then click Deactivate role.
- Wait for the plugin to turn red.
- Right-click the TSS plugin again and select Maintenance, then Activate.
- Wait at least two polling cycles.
