You can hide minimaps for all image maps by selecting the Disable
minimaps option in the user's Map options settings. Minimaps can be hidden per
image map through a right-click option or through the Maps
task.
What you should know
Minimaps are enabled by default and are displayed when an image map loads. Minimaps are
not displayed when opened from a private task or previously saved workspace that has minimaps
manually disabled. Minimap right-click options are unavailable if the entire image map is
visible or the minimap is too small.
Map options in Security Desk are associated with the current Windows
user.
Procedure
To disable minimaps from the user options:

Open Map options.
- From the Security Desk homepage,
click .
- From the Maps task, click
.

Select the Disable minimap checkbox.

Click Save.
Minimaps are now disabled for the user.
To disable Minimaps in a Monitoring tile:

Right-click the image map.

Select Disable minimap.
The minimap is disabled for this task. When the task is re-opened, the minimap
is shown or hidden based on how the user left the task last.
To disable minimaps from the Maps task:

Open the Maps task in Security Desk.

Click the Settings button (
).

Select Disable minimap.
The minimap is disabled until the Maps task is closed. The
minimap remains disabled if the map is changed within the same task instance.
