Motion detection must be configured on the unit's web page.

What you should know

If the active x isn’t installed, install it. If it was installed, but you see a black rectangle instead of the video, you can still configure motion zones as long as your cursor becomes a gray cross when hovering in the black rectangle.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Turn on the motion detection functionality in Live View > Function buttons.

  3. Go to the Settings > Audio video > Motion tab and select the zones that you need.
  4. Activate a zone.
  5. Click the drag button using your mouse to draw a rectangle. It should change to a cross when you hover over the video.
