The image capture mode for a 360 degree camera must be configured on the unit's web page before adding the unit to Security Center.

What you should know

  • Motion detection configuration in Security Center is limited to the whole area for the following image capture modes:
    • Quad PTZ
    • Single PTZ
    • Quad streams
    • Double Panarama + Quad PTZ
    • Double Panarama + Single PTZ
    • Panarama + Quad PTZ
    • Panarama + Single PTZ
NOTE: As a workaround, you can configure multiple zones on the unit's web page.
  • For image capture modes that include a PTZ view such as Panorama + Single PTZ, the PTZ controls will appear for both streams in Security Desk, but only work for the actual PTZ stream.
  • For image capture modes that include a Fisheye and PTZ view such as 4Fisheye + Single PTZ, the PTZ controls will appear for both streams in Security Desk, but only work for the actual PTZ stream. You must enable digital zoom for the Fisheye stream for it to be dewarped.
  • M-JPEG streams cannot simultaneously stream using the same resolution.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Click Setup > Image/Audio.
  3. From the Image capture mode drop-down list, select the desired capture mode and click Set.
  4. Add the unit in Security Center.
IMPORTANT: If you need to change the image capture mode on the unit's web page after the camera has been added to your system, delete the camera from your system, change the image capture mode, then add it again.
