To create PTZ patterns for Axis cameras that support the guard tour feature, the guard tours must be configured in the Axis unit’s web page after the PTZ patterns are renamed in Config Tool.

Before you begin

Rename the default Axis PTZ patterns.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Follow the Axis documentation that comes with your camera to configure the Axis guard tours.
    The guard tours you are configuring are the existing PTZ patterns that were renamed in Security Center.

Results

The configured Axis guard tours that are available are PTZ patterns for the camera in Security Center.

After you finish

Test the Axis PTZ patterns in Security Center. They should run the same way as other PTZ patterns.
