Although AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is supported on all Panasonic cameras that have the capability, there are certain limitations you should familiarize yourself with.
When a Panasonic camera that supports AAC is newly added to Security Center, the default audio codec selected is AAC.
The Panasonic AAC support has the following limitations:
- Sampling rate and bit rate cannot be changed.
- Only the following connection types are available:
a Requires at least one stream usage to be set to an H.264, HEVC or MPEG-4 stream.

- The Microphone is disabled on the Panasonic WV-X8570N when the unit is added in Security Center and the recording stream usage is set to MJPEG.
