When setting up edge recording for Axis units using a memory card, it is recommended that you delete older recordings to prevent the card from filling up and stop recording.

What you should know

To record video on Axis units, it is recommended to use an enhanced memory card such as a SanDisk Extreme. These cards are better suited for professional 24/7 surveillance applications and have a longer life span.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Click Setup > System Options > Storage > Overview.
  3. Select SD Card.
  4. On the Storage Management page, select Remove recordings older than, and select the number of days.
  5. Click OK.
