The image capture mode for a 360-degree camera must be configured on the unit's web page before adding the unit to Security Center.

What you should know

  • Motion detection configuration in Security Center is limited to the whole area for the following image capture modes:
    • Quad PTZ
    • Single PTZ
    • Quad streams
    • Double Panorama + Quad PTZ
    • Double Panorama + Single PTZ
    • Panorama + Quad PTZ
    • Panorama + Single PTZ
NOTE: As a workaround, you can configure multiple zones on the unit's web page.
  • For image capture modes that include a PTZ view, the PTZ controls appears for both streams in Security Desk. The PTZ controls only work for the PTZ stream.
  • For image capture modes that include a Fisheye and PTZ view, the PTZ controls appear for both streams in Security Desk. The PTZ controls only work for the PTZ stream. To dewarp the Fisheye stream, enable digital zoom.
  • M-JPEG streams cannot simultaneously stream using the same resolution.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Click Setup > Image/Audio.
  3. From the Image capture mode list, select the desired capture mode and click Set.
  4. Add the unit in Security Center.
IMPORTANT: To change the image capture mode on the unit's web page after adding the camera to your system:
    1. Delete the camera from your system.
    2. Change the image capture mode.
    3. Add the camera again.
