To display live video in a sequence view in Security Desk, you can configure the Axis D1110 Video Decoder.

Before you begin

Create and start a sequence in the Axis D1110 Video Decoder web page. When you create the sequence, select the desired number of monitors and save the changes.

For more information about creating sequences, see the Axis D1110 Video Decoder User Manual.

IMPORTANT: To switch between different sequences on the decoder's webpage, you must reconnect the video decoder through Config Tool > Video task after editing the sequences. If this step is skipped, the sequence reverts to its previous settings.

Procedure

In Config Tool

  1. (Optional) To keep basic authentication enabled on the main Archiver, go to the Config Tool Video task and create or select a secondary Archiver.
  2. Select an Archiver and click Extensions.
  3. In the General section, disable Refuse basic authentication.
  4. Click the plus and add an Axis extension.
  5. Add an Axis D1110 Video Decoder unit adding HTTPS.
  6. From the Product type list, select Other.
  7. Add cameras to the Axis D1110 Video Decoder unit.

In Security Desk

  1. Go to the Security Desk Monitoring task and drag the Axis D1110 Video Decoder monitors into tiles.
    You can drag one monitor per tile.
  2. Drag each camera into a monitor in the tiles.
    You can drag only one camera per monitor.
    Limitation: Security Center doesn’t support video stream selection for this decoder model. Therefore, attempts to display a specific stream from Config Tool aren’t supported.
