To use PTZ controls on a Bosch MIC-9000 unit, configure the cameras in Security Center. Each Bosch MIC-9000 unit has a single IP address and contains two cameras.

Before you begin

You must have a Bosch PTZ license for your MIC-9000 unit. Contact Bosch support to get a license and instructions on how to apply it to your unit.

Procedure

  1. If you previously added your unit without a license, delete it and re-add it.
  2. Open the Video task in Config Tool.
  3. Select the Archiver and click Add an entity > Video unit.
  4. Expand the unit and select the first camera.
  5. Click the Hardware tab.
  6. Turn on the PTZ option.
  7. From the Protocol list, you must select Philips.
  8. Set the serial port to the one associated with the unit. The PTZ address does not change.
  9. Click Apply.
  10. Select the second camera, and repeat steps 5 to 9.
