To control an associated PTZ camera with an i-PRO WJ-GXE100 or WJ-GXE500 unit, you must configure the serial port on the unit’s web page.

What you should know

IMPORTANT: For PTZ commands to be sent to a WJ-GXE500 unit, the unit must be restarted from Config Tool after it is added in Security Center.

Procedure

  1. Open the unit's web page.
  2. Click Setup > Image, and then click the RS485 tab.
  3. Beside RS485 transmission, select On.
  4. Complete the rest of the information.
    The options entered should match was set on the associated PTZ camera.
  5. Click Set.
