Receiving VMF events from Sony 5th generation units - Security Center 5.12.2.0

To receive VMF events from Sony 5th generation units in Security Desk, you must perform additional configuration steps in the unit’s web page before adding the unit in Security Center.

1. Open the unit's web page.
2. Click Setup > Event detection > Motion detection.
3. Under VMD settings, click Detection area and configure a detection area.
   For more information about how to configure the detection area, see your Sony documentation.
4. Under VMF settings, modify the other settings as desired.
5. Click OK.
6. From the Video task in Config Tool, select the camera to configure.
7. Click the Hardware tab.
8. Select the VMF analytics option, and click Apply.
9. Click the Video analytics tab.
10. Select Motion detection and set it to ON.
11. Click Apply.
