Configuring video quality for American Dynamics units - Security Center 5.7 SR5

H.264 Video quality settings for American Dynamics Illustra 400 and Illustra 600 units must be configured on the unit's web page.

To configure video quality settings for the Illustra 400:

1. Click Unit > Unit's Web page and log on.
2. Click Setup > Audio and Video.
3. Beside Video quality, set a Constant bit rate or a Fixed quality.
4. Click Save.

To configure video quality settings for the Illustra 600:

1. Click Unit > Unit's Web page and log on.
2. Click Setup > Image > Codec.
3. Under Basic Settings beside Rate Control, set the desired bit rate.
4. Click Save.
