When you add a Zepcam camera in Security Center, you must make sure that the credentials you enter match those required to access the Zepcam server.

What you should know

Zepcam servers are capable of handling multiple credentials. Each set of credentials can have access to a different subset of cameras present on the server. However, in Security Center, an Archiver role can use only one set of credentials. Therefore, if you need to access multiple accounts from the same Zepcam server, you will need to use separate Archiver roles.


  1. Click Tools > Unit enrollment tool in Config Tool.
  2. In the Unit enrollment window, click Settings and Manufacturers ().
  3. Click Add manufacturer () and select Zepcam.
  4. When Zepcam is added to the list of manufacturers, select it and click Configure manufacturer ().
  5. In Service URI, enter the server address following the URI Syntax.
    The URI syntax uses the following format: http://{IP}|hostname[:{Port}]
  6. Enter the Username and Password, and then click Save.
  7. Turn the camera on.
  8. Connect the camera to the Zepcam server.
  9. Verify that the Zepcam camera is connected to the Zepcam server, from one of the following options:
  10. Click Start discovery.
  11. Click Add unit for each camera that you wish to add.
  12. Repeat the previous steps on other Archiver roles using different credentials to add other cameras.
