In Security Center Web Client, you can monitor video and view events as if they were in your time zone (local system) or as if you were in the time zone of the event (specific).

What you should know

  • Settings are saved per user. For example, administrators might display all times for UTC-5 (EST), whereas operators might display all times according to the time set on their computer (their local system time).
  • The time and date of an event is reported according to the location of the device that recorded the event. All dates are saved by Security Center in UTC format.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Web Client.
  2. In the top right corner of Web Client, click the user icon, and then click Settings.
  3. Do one of the following:
    1. Choose Local system for all times to be displayed as if they were in the same time zone as the computer.
    2. Choose Specific, and then select a time zone. For example: (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
  4. Click Save.
