Using the Monitoring task in Security Center Web Client, you can monitor video feeds and manage access control for the facility.

What you should know

In the Monitoring task, you can:
  • Drag entities from the area view to a tile
  • Unlock doors and override unlock schedules in systems with access control
  • Configure the tile pattern

Procedure

  1. Log on to Web Client.
  2. From the main menu, select the Monitoring task.
  3. Click the Area view tab and find the device you want to monitor.
  4. Drag the device to a tile.
    The tile displays the video feed, data, or controls associated with the device.

Using Web Client with video

Watch this video to learn more. Click the Captions icon (CC) to turn on video captions in one of the available languages. If using Internet Explorer, the video might not display. To fix this, open the Compatibility View Settings and clear Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
