When a license plate is detected by a mobile or fixed license plate recognition (LPR) camera, Security Center Web Client can provide information about the vehicle, depending on how the system is configured.

What you should know

In addition to viewing license plate reads and hits from the Plate report task as described below, you can also click on the license plate image in the Monitoring task to view vehicle details.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Web Client.
  2. From the main menu, select the Plate report task and configure the filters to display the license plate reads you want to investigate.
  3. To open a plate read, click and select View details.
    The license plate read details are displayed.

  4. To show more details about the vehicle, click Show analytics.
    The Read details window displays information such as the speed of the vehicle and the LPR context associated with the plate read.
