The Door widget appears whenever a door entity is displayed in the current tile. It allows you to control the access through that door. The Door widget also displays the current door state (Opened or Closed), the lock state (Locked, Unlocked, Unlocked and in maintenance mode, or Unsecured), the reader state (if it is shunted), and whether some inputs are shunted.

The door widget commands are described below:

Button Command Description
Unlock Temporarily unlock the door for 5 seconds (or whatever the duration of the Standard grant time is, as configured by the system administrator).

If you hold Ctrl+Shift when clicking the command, the command applies to all doors displayed in the canvas.

Override unlock schedules Unlock the door indefinitely for maintenance purposes, or keep the door locked or unlocked for a predetermined period. When a temporary override is in effect, the lock status is displayed in red.
Cancel Cancel the unlock schedule override.
Forgive antipassback violation Forgive an antipassback violation. This button is only available when there is an antipassback violation.
Reader (Shunt or Activate) Select the reader to either Shunt (deactivate) or Activate. This button is only available when your access control equipment supports reader shunting.
Shunt or unshunt inputs You can shunt or unshunt (remove the shunt from) the inputs according to their functional groupings:
  • All inputs
  • Door sensor inputs
  • Entry sensor inputs
  • Lock sensor inputs
  • Manual station inputs
  • Request-to-exit inputs
You might not see all these options if they are not configured for the selected door.

To know which inputs are shunted, click the blue label Inputs shunted. The label is absent if no input is shunted.
