When an event occurs in SiPass, the plugin creates a custom event with the same name. In some cases, the plugin also creates a native Security Center event. Having a single SiPass event trigger both a custom event and a native event in Security Center ensures that automated actions for native events are generated as expected, while letting you specify different automated responses for the custom events.

For example, if SiPass communicates a Badge Collision event, you will see two events in the Monitoring task: Badge collision (a custom event) and Access Denied (a native event).

The following table shows the SiPass events that are mapped to native Security Center events and the related entities.
