If you want to trigger outputs in SiPass through hot actions, event-to-actions, or scheduled tasks in Security Center, you must configure the output behaviors to be used by the plugin.

Before you begin

In Security Center, create output behaviors that you can associate with SiPass pulse patterns.

What you should know

Each output can be triggered in SiPass using the following pulse patterns:
  • Fast pulse
  • Single pulse
  • Slow pulse
  • Toggle output
For each pulse pattern that you want to trigger in SiPass, you must associate it with an existing output behavior.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the entity browser pane, select the SiPass plugin, and then click the Properties tab.
  3. For each pulse pattern that you want to trigger, do the following:
    1. Click () to edit the pulse pattern.
    2. Select an output behavior.
    3. Click Select.
    You can create the output behavior SiPass toggle output in Security Center and associate it with the Toggle output property of the plugin.
  4. Click Apply.

Example

When you trigger a SiPass output through a hot action in Security Center, you can select the SiPass toggle output output behavior in the Trigger output command. This will then trigger the output in SiPass using the Toggle output pulse pattern.
