Events reported in the SiPass system are not reported in Security Center. You do not see any SiPass events in the Monitoring task.
Cause
The events might be ignored by the SiPass plugin role.
Your Monitoring task might not be configured to show SiPass events.
Solution 1: Make sure the plugin role is reporting events
- In Config Tool, open the Plugins task, select the SiPass plugin, and then click the Events tab.
- Select the checkbox of events you want to report. Clear the checkbox of events to
ignore.
Solution 2: Choose the SiPass entities to monitor
When monitoring events, you are monitoring the entities that trigger those events. These entities are selected in the Monitoring task.

In a typical access control integration, you would monitor the following entities.
- Access control unit
- Cardholders and credentials
- Device, for inputs and outputs
- Doors
- Role, for events reported by the SiPass plugin
