By default, Sipelia™ uses a Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) connection for communication with RabbitMQ. You can disable SSL by modifying the
Sipelia.config file.
Before you begin
Create a backup copy of the existing
C:\ProgramData\Genetec
Sipelia\Sipelia.config file and save under a new filename.
Procedure

Modify the Sipelia.config file.

Deactivate the
Sipelia™ plugin

Open the following configuration file in a text editor:
C:\ProgramData\Genetec
Sipelia\Sipelia.config

Under <CommunicationService>, find the entry
<IsSslEnabled Value="True"/> and modify the
entry to <IsSslEnabled Value="False"/>.

Save the file and reactivate the Sipelia™ plugin role.

Configure Sipelia™ to use the non-SSL
port.

From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins
task, and click the Sipelia™
plugin.

Click the General tab.

In , select the server entry on the list and click edit

).
NOTE: If your system includes multiple Message broker servers, you must edit all
of them to use the non-SSL port.

Modify the port to use the non-SSL port (5672).
