To configure the SIP Settings for your SAFR SCAN biometrics access device, do the following:

  1. From the Operation section, select the Intercom tab.

  2. From the Intercom function drop-down, select Enabled.

  3. Click Edit intercom settings.

  4. From the Protocol drop-down, select SIP.

  5. In the SIP Server Address field, enter the port configured at the Sipelia™ server level (default 5060).

  6. In the SIP Device Username field, enter the extension of the device that you configured for the SIP intercom in Security Center.

  7. In the SIP Device Password field, enter the password that was set when you added the SIP intercom in Security Center.

  8. From the Transport drop-down, select the same protocol used in the Sipelia server (default UDP).

  9. From the Video drop-down, select Enabled.

  10. From the Call button action drop-down, select Call extension.

  11. In the Extension field, enter the extension number or ring group extension you would like the SAFR SCAN to call.

  12. Click Apply.

The Intercom Status should display Ready if registered. A call button will appear on the SAFR SCAN device’s screen.
