Automating public announcements - Sipelia 2.13

You can trigger pre-recorded or text-to-speech actions using event-to-actions.

To set events for public announcements.

1. From Config Tool, open the System task and click the General settings view.
2. Click Actions.
3. Click Add an item ().
4. From the When list in the Event-to-action dialog box, select the event.
5. From the From list, select the entity.
6. Select the Action and attributes for each type of event.
   • For a pre-recorded message, select Trigger Public Announcement [pre-recorded] and then select the audio message.
   • For a text message, select Trigger Public Announcement [text-to-speech] and then enter the text message and language.
7. Select the paging zone and click Save.

To set an event to load an attached camera in a tile.

1. From Config Tool, open the System task and click the General settings view.
2. Click Actions.
3. Click Add an item ().
4. From the When list in the Event-to-action dialog box, select the event.
5. From the From list, select the entity.
6. From the Action list, select Display caller attached camera in a tile to load the attached camera in a Security Desk tile.
7. Select the recipient and click Save.
