After activating the Synergis™ Cloud Link connection, you must establish a secure connection to the cloud from each Synergis Cloud Link unit that is enrolled in a hosted deployment.

To activate the cloud connection, Cloud Agent must be installed and enabled on the Legacy Synergis Cloud Link unit.
Cloud Agent is a separate software module that
establishes a secure connection to the cloud.
- Depending on when you purchased your Synergis Cloud Link unit, Cloud Agent might come pre-installed on your unit. If so, you must enable Cloud Agent manually.
- If Cloud Agent did not come pre-installed on your unit, installing it automatically enables it on your unit.
Procedure
- Verify that Cloud Agent is installed on your Synergis Cloud Link unit.

If Cloud Agent is already installed, enable it on your Synergis Cloud Link unit:
- Log on using your Synergis Softwire credentials. On the Activation page, click Enable.
- On the Settings page, click Edit (), enter the Username and Password of the Synergis Cloud Link unit, select the Enabled checkbox, and then click Save.

If Cloud Agent is not already installed, download and install it:
- Add the units to a cloud-hosted Access Manager.
