Enabling DESFire EV2 secure messaging - Synergis Softwire 11.4.3

To use secure DESFire EV2 secure messaging, you must enable EV2 authentication on your DESFire configuration files and export them to your workstations and Synergis™ units.

1. Using a text editor, open your custom SmartCardsSites.xml file.
2. Locate the <AuthenticationMode> tag at the end of each configuration, and replace "EV1" with "EV2".

3. Save your changes and close the file.
4. Using Config Tool, import the modified SmartCardsSites.xml file with the MIFARE DESFire configuration task.
5. Export the new MIFARE DESFire configuration to your workstations and Synergis units.
