To ensure that you have the latest security fixes and improvements, keep your Synergis™ unit up to date with the latest version of Synergis™ Softwire.

Before you begin

Ensure that you follow the correct upgrade path for your Synergis unit.

For more information, see Supported upgrades from earlier versions of Synergis Softwire.

Procedure

  1. Download the latest firmware from the GTAP Product Download page:
    1. From the Download Finder list, select Synergis™ Cloud Link Legacy, and then search for your firmware.
    2. Save the .sfw file on your local drive.
  2. Log on to the Synergis unit.
  3. Click Maintenance > Softwire upgrade.

  4. Click Select upgrade file.
  5. In the file browser that opens, select the .sfw firmware file, and click Open.
  6. Click Upgrade now.

Results

Upgrades can take up to a few minutes. The Synergis unit restarts.
