To import data from Entra ID, you need the tenant name and application (client) ID. You can find this information on the Azure portal.

What you should know

When the Entra ID app was registered, a client key was generated. This key is only displayed when the app is generated. If the client key has been lost, you must create a new app and record the client key. If this happens, make sure to delete the unused app.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com/ and log in using your Office365 user account.
  2. From the homepage, click Azure Active Directory.
  3. From the Overview, copy and record the:
    • Tenant ID
    • Primary domain
  4. Click App registrations, click View all applications in the directory, and then select your app.
  5. From your app's Overview page, copy the Application (client) ID.
