Backing up Synergis IX controllers manually in Config Tool - Australia and New Zealand only

You can use the Synergis™ IX backup task in Config Tool to back up multiple Synergis™ IX controllers.

1. From the Tasks page in Config Tool, open the Synergis™ IX backup task.
2. Select Synergis IX controllers:
   You can hold Ctrl to select multiple controllers, or Ctrl+A to select all controllers.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Click Back up selection to back up the selected controllers.
   • Click Back up all to back up all controllers.
4. In the Browse For Folder dialog box, select the folder where you want the backup files saved and click OK.
   The backup files are saved in a sub-folder created inside the folder that you selected.
   The Manual backup status dialog box displays the number of succeeded and failed backups.

   If all backups are successful, a green check mark is displayed:

   

   If any backup fails, a red sign is displayed instead:

   
5. Click OK.
