The Synergis™ IX intrusion extension has the following limitations.
Synergis IX intrusion detection requires a
combination of the following software modules:
- Security Center
- Synergis™ Softwire (included in Synergis™ Cloud Link)
- Synergis IX intrusion extension
- Synergis IX controller firmware
- Synergis IX reader expander firmware
IMPORTANT: Only issues related to Synergis IX intrusion extension are
described here. For issues related to Security Center, Synergis Softwire, or specific
Synergis IX device firmware, refer to their respective Release

| 3268248 | 3.2 and later | When making a change to the Synergis™ IX backup
configuration, you might accidentally overwrite someone else's configuration
change if they were made after you opened the Synergis™ IX
backup task. Workaround: Always close and open the
Synergis™ IX backup task immediately before making a
backup configuration change to ensure that you are applying the change to the
latest configuration.

of Last scheduled backup, Successful
backups, and Failed backups while it is
open. Workaround: Refresh manually by closing and reopening the
Synergis™ IX backup task.
