1 During the few seconds during which changes to these door settings are synchronized to the Synergis IX controller, cardholders might be denied access.

2 When you set a door to maintenance mode or override unlock schedules in Security Desk, there's sometimes a delay before the changes take effect.

3 To use both maintenance mode and intrusion detection areas with Synergis IX, you must enable two Synergis IX door settings in Config Tool.

Enable one of the following:
  • Area disarmed or schedule valid, unlock door
  • Area disarmed and schedule valid, unlock door
And one of the following:
  • Door lock follows inside area
  • Door lock follows outside area

4 Security Center requires an entry sensor to accurately detect entry into an area. In the absence of the entry sensor, Security Center uses the door sensor, and the Entry detected event is generated when the door sensor is triggered. In the absence of both sensors, Security Center generates the Entry assumed event when access is granted.

5 For the <delay> after opening option, if the specified delay is greater than 0 seconds, the door relocks after the grant time expires or the door closes, whichever comes first. For the On close option, the door relocks after the grant time expires or the door closes, whichever comes first.

6 The Suppressed option for Reader buzzer behavior is not supported when access is granted.

7 The override and lockdown inputs are not supported.

8 Requires Synergis™ Softwire 11.3.2 or later.
