You need to install an XML file on the Synergis™ unit before you can enroll EntraGuard.

What you should know

EntraGuard tenants are stored as cardholders in Security Center. Specific tenant information are stored as cardholder custom fields. These custom fields are automatically created in Security Center when an EntraGuard-enabled Synergis™ unit is enrolled in Security Center.
IMPORTANT: For the automatic creation of custom fields to work, no cardholders should be defined in your Security Center system prior to the enrollment of the first EntraGuard-enabled Synergis™ unit.

Procedure

  1. Create the file Features.zip used to unlock the EntraGuard enrollment feature on your Synergis™ unit.
    If you have Internet access, you can download the Features.zip file from this link.
    1. Create the file Features.xml with an XML editor with the following content: 
      <Features Serial="" ThreatLevels="true" Entraguard="true"
 MaximumCardholders="150000" MaximumOfflineLogsEvents="150000" 
CanLeaveRDPActivated="false"/>
    2. Compress (ZIP) the XML file.
    3. Change the file extension from .xml to .zip.
    NOTE: Make sure the file Features.zip is saved to your local drive.
  2. Log on to Synergis™ unit.
  3. From the home page, click System Status.
  4. Click Select upload configuration files.
  5. In the file browser that opens, navigate to the file Features.zip.
  6. Click Open.

After you finish

Enroll the NXT module connected to the Synergis™ unit.
