SimonsVoss SmartIntego lock integration requires a Mercury EP or LP (or Honeywell) controller. If the SmartIntego locks are disconnected from their controller, the locks cannot grant access or store offline events.

Synergis™ Softwire 11.3 supports the following SimonsVoss lock features.
The following is the legend for some common values found in the Supported column:
Yes
Synergis™ Softwire supports the feature and the interface module offers it.
No
Synergis™ Softwire does not support the feature, but the interface module offers it.
Not applicable
The interface module does not offer the feature.
Features Supported
Category of interface module Electronic lock
Communication protocol1 IP, radio
Encrypted communication Yes2
Online operation (connected to the Synergis™ unit) Not applicable
Offline operation (no connection to the Synergis™ unit) Not applicable
Wireless operation Yes3
Reader communication protocols Not applicable
Maximum credential length (in bits) 644
Recommended maximum number of interface modules per Synergis™ unit Not applicable5

1 The Gateway node communicates with the Synergis™ unit over IP. The Gateway node communicates with the wireless locks over radio.

2 All SmartIntego wireless locks communicates over a 868 MHz channel using AES-128 bit encryption.

3 Requires the Gateway node (communication module).

4 The credential limit of the default configuration. Up to eight different credential lengths are supported.

5 In the SimonsVoss lock integration, it is the Mercury controller that is viewed as the interface module, not the SimonsVoss lock. For the recommended number of Mercury EP or LP controllers per Synergis™ unit, see Supported Mercury controller features in Synergis™ Softwire 11.3.
