Dependent on the beacon time configured on the web page of the BEST Wi-Q gateway. The beacon time is the polling interval of the controller and the gateway, and is 60 seconds by default. Decreasing the beacon time decreases the battery life of the lock. For example, setting the beacon time to 10 seconds can result in a battery life shorter than a month.

Supported on close only.

No pre-alarm events or reader buzzer.

On only. Not supported on wireless access controllers. Only the shunt fires on REX. On access grant, both the strike and shunt fire. The shunt firing time is determined by the time configured in the Door held section of the door's Properties page in Config Tool.

Notification for low and critical battery levels. This only applies to locks, not to wireless access controllers.

Only during door alarms, such as Door forced open and Door held open.

Changing the Program door alarm LED procedures option on the Mercury controller settings page in the Synergis™ Appliance Portal does not affect the LED behavior of BEST Wi-Q locks.

The timestamps of events from BEST Wi-Q controllers can be inaccurate by up to one minute. During credential synchronization from the gateway to the controller, no events are received in Security Desk because events are stored on controllers as offline events until synchronization is complete. Synchronizing 10,000 credentials can take up to 15 minutes.

If the Trigger event option configured in the Door held section of the door's Properties page in Config Tool is turned off, the shunt fire time defaults to 65,534 seconds.
