Allegion Schlage AD, LE and NDE Series lock integration requires a Mercury EP or LP (or Honeywell) controller. If the AD Series locks are disconnected from their controller, the locks cannot grant access or store offline events. However, the mechanical key, as well as the inside handle, can still be used to open the door.
- Yes
- Synergis Softwire supports the feature and the interface module offers it.
- No
- Synergis Softwire does not support the feature, but the interface module offers it.
- Not applicable
- The interface module does not offer the feature.

1 The Allegion Schlage lock communicates with the Mercury EP or LP controller using RS-485 (AD-300), or radio (AD-400). The Mercury controller communicates with the Synergis™ unit over IP. LE and NDE locks connect to the ENGAGE gateway over Bluetooth.
2 The AD-400 (wireless lock) communicates over a 900 MHz channel using AES-128 bit encryption.
3 The AD-400 model is a wireless lock. Requires the PIM400 communication module. NDE and LE locks require an ENGAGE Gateway.
4 The integration is done through Mercury EP or LP panels. Only EP1501, LP1501, EP2500, and LP2500 are supported. As of Synergis Softwire 10.11, Mercury Firmware version 1.25.6 enables all Mercury controllers to support Allegion Schlage locks.
5 The credential limit of the default configuration. Up to eight different credential lengths are supported.
6 EP2500 or LP2500 controllers have two RS-485 channels, for a maximum of up to 64 interfaces, or 32 interfaces per channel.
EP1501 and LP1501 controllers have one RS-485 channel, which supports up to 8 interfaces.
7 In the Allegion Schlage lock integration, it is the Mercury controller that is viewed as the interface module, not the Allegion Schlage lock. For the recommended number of Mercury EP or LP controllers per Synergis unit, see Supported Mercury controller features in Synergis Softwire 11.4.3.
