For DDS integration, each TPL door controller is viewed as an interface module.

Synergis™ Softwire 11.4.3 supports the following DDS hardware devices:
Model Description Firmware
AS34 or TPL Door controller supporting RS-485 communication, featuring four Wiegand readers, suitable for two card in/card out doors.
NOTE: Make sure the ROM chip installed on the U5 socket of the TPL board is labeled 5xxx1.
 Synergis Softwire requires a custom version of the firmware. The custom firmware is automatically pushed to the TPL module during enrollment.
AS34-P4 or TPL-P4 Door controller supporting RS-485 communication, featuring four Wiegand readers, suitable for four card in/REX out doors.
NOTE: Make sure the ROM chip installed on the U5 socket of the TPL board is labeled 6xxx1.
EXT-TCPT TCP/IP extension board for the TPL door controller. Not applicable
EXT-8E4S TCP/IP extension board adding 8 supervised inputs and 4 outputs to the TPL door controller with the ROM chip 6xxx1.

This combination is equivalent to adding TCP/IP interface to the TPL-P4 controller.
