To benefit from all the features of this integration, the firmware for the controllers must fall within a specific range.
Mercury controller firmware
Synergis™ Softwire 11.6.0 supports the following Mercury firmware
versions:
Model | Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|---|
MP1501, MP2500 | 2.2.0 | 2.2.0 |
MP1502, MP4502 | 2.1.0 | 2.1.0 |
LP1501, LP1502, LP2500, LP4502 | 1.31.0 | 2.1.01 |
EP1501, EP1502, EP2500 | 1.19.42, 3 | 1.29.1 |
EP4502 | 1.20.92 | 1.29.7 |
M5-IC | 1.19.42, 3 | 1.29.2 |
MS-ICS | 1.22.92 | 1.29.1 |
1 Upgrading to version 2.1.0 can take up to an hour and you can’t downgrade from that version.
2 To use OSDP (Secure Channel) readers, the required minimum firmware versions
differ per model, as follows:
- 1.22.9 if the reader is connected directly to the EP controller
- The minimum firmware version for an LP controller
- 1.23.6 if the reader is connected to a downstream red SIOv3 MR50 or MR52
- 1.5.9 for MR51e and boot firmware version 1.1.4. Boot firmware is not field-upgradable; units with earlier boot firmware must be replaced.
3 Firmware version 1.19.4 has a bug that requires the F2F readers to be connected differently as a workaround. The bug is fixed in version 1.20.7. If you upgrade your controllers to the new version, reconnect your F2F readers accordingly.
Mercury downstream panel firmware
Synergis Softwire 11.6.0 supports the following Mercury firmware
versions:
Model | Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|---|
MR51e | 1.4.2 | 1.8.4 |
MR52-S2 | 1.59.0 | 1.59.0 |
MR52-S3 1 | 3.22.4 | 3.22.8 |
MR62e | 3.21.12 | 3.21.12 |
1 MR52-S3 and MR52-S3B are both supported. There’s no distinction between the two in the integration with Synergis Softwire.
