Mercury controllers are enrolled using Config Tool. For information, see "Enrolling Mercury controllers on the Synergis unit" in the Synergis Appliance Configuration Guide or the Synergis Cloud Link Administrator Guide.
Double-badge activation doesn’t work if the Disable host decision handoff (offline mode) setting is enabled in the Synergis Appliance Portal.
Two swipes within 5 seconds by the same card unlock the door until the same action locks it again.
The door behavior settings are overwritten by the individual door settings configured in Security Center.
A cardholder must have a card and a PIN credential for a PIN to work. A cardholder cannot have more than one PIN credential. When set to Card or PIN, if a cardholder only has a PIN credential, that credential won't be synchronized to the controller and won't work. As a workaround, create and assign the cardholder a dummy card credential.
The PIN value isn’t included in Access granted and Access denied events.
Mercury does not support keypad readers outputting PIN in 26-bit Wiegand mode (HID mode-14).
By default, maximum PIN length is set to 6 digits. For PINs under 6 digits, you must enter a '#' after the PIN.
By default, PINs that start with zero aren’t supported. For more information, see About configuring PINs with leading zeros for Mercury integrations.
