The Synergis™ Softwire upgrade path you must follow depends on the 3.x image on your Synergis™ appliance.
What you should know

The Management framework, Service stack, and Framework runtime environment are updated in the same way as Synergis™ Softwire is.

IMPORTANT: If you want to use Axis A1001 or A1601 with Synergis™ Softwire 11.2, you must apply Framework 4.7.2 runtime environment.
Failure to update the runtime environment results in Axis controllers not coming online after upgrading to Synergis™ Softwire 11.2.
Procedure
To upgrade a Synergis™ appliance that has production images 3.8 or 3.7:
To upgrade a Synergis™ appliance that has production images 3.6 or 3.5:
To upgrade a Synergis™ appliance that has production images 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, or 3.0:
To verify that the Management framework, Service stack, and Framework runtime environment were updated correctly:

- Runtime environment
- Framework 4.7.2
- Platform component updates
