Security appliances running an earlier 11.x version of Synergis™ Softwire can be upgraded to Synergis Softwire 11.5 using the Synergis™ Appliance Portal.
WARNING:
- Direct upgrade from a 10.x version to 11.5 is not supported. First upgrade to 11.3, then upgrade from 11.3 to 11.5.
- After upgrading to an 11.x version, you cannot revert to a 10.x version. Consider backing up your Synergis Softwire unit configuration before upgrading.
- After upgrading to 11.2.1 or later, Mercury OSDPv2 readers set to secure mode enrolled with Synergis Softwire 11.1 or 11.2.0 and Security Center 5.10.1.0 or later must be paired again. For more information, see KBA-79088.
Finding the production image version of your Synergis appliance
The upgrade path that you must follow depends on the production image version of your Synergis™ appliance. You can find the production image version of your Synergis appliance in the Synergis Appliance Portal. Click .Example: The order in which the unit information is listed varies
depending on the version of Synergis Softwire you are using.

Upgrading from production image 4.x
Synergis™ Cloud Link appliances produced with image 4.0 or later, and running an earlier 11.x version of Synergis Softwire can be upgraded directly to Synergis Softwire 11.5. For appliances running a 10.x version, first upgrade to 11.3, then upgrade from 11.3 to 11.5.Upgrading from production image 3.x

Upgrading from SMC firmware
Synergis™ Master Controller appliances cannot be upgraded to Synergis Softwire 11.5. The latest Synergis Softwire version supported by Synergis Master Controller appliances is 10.11.Upgrading a Streamvault appliance
