System Availability Monitor Agent is compatible with the following systems.
The System
Availability Monitor Agent will run on any operating system that is compatible with the current
Security
Center server requirements. It is
compatible with the following software:
- Security Center 5.3 SR1 and later.
IMPORTANT: The System
Availability Monitor
Agent is not supported on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. As a workaround, you can
install the agent on a computer that runs a more recent version of Windows, and then
configure the agent to monitor your Security
Center
system. In this case, the operating system on which Security
Center is running does not matter. See Running System Availability Monitor Agent on a standalone server.
